Welcome to Nursery

Nursery is based in our Foundation Stage unit, where we provide a friendly, secure, stimulating and challenging learning environment which promotes children’s independence.  Each child’s knowledge, skills and enjoyment in all areas of the curriculum is developed whilst building on prior learning. 

Our Early Years team work closely across the unit and establish strong relationships.  We aim to make this stage of your child’s education a very happy and enjoyable experience which will lead them into a smooth transition into Reception. 

Hours 

Your child is currently entitled to 15 free funded hours of Nursery education from the term following their third birthday.

15 hours provision runs between 8.40am - 11.40am  for a morning session or

                                  12.15pm -  3.15pm  for an afternoon session.

Your child may also be entitled to 30 hours of free Nursery education from the term following their third birthday.

30 hours provision runs between 8.40am - 3.15pm, this includes a FREE lunch club.
