A huge thank you to both the children and volunteers who came on the London trip. We had a fantastic time at the Tower of London and even got to have a tour of the sights!
During the snowy weather Oak Class decided to make bird feeders to help our feathered friends out. We hung them up around the school to make sure they had plenty to eat!
In history we have been learning all about the Great Fire of London. We constructed houses out of cardboard and lollipop sticks. We have been tryingly hard to be effective team workers!
Oak Class have been carrying out some scientific investigations. We have explored whether and orange will float or sink and learnt how to make a plastic bag float using a balloon!
Oak Class were detectives. We carried out an investigation using our senses to find a missing teddy bear.
This week we have received a letter from the Queen!
She also sent us a photo of her afternoon tea with Paddington.
As part of our new theme we have been learning all about London, we have even had a visit from Paddington Bear!
Oak Class have been learning to use a number line to support us with our subtraction.
