This course offers an overview of the principles of Philosophy for Children and the impact this has had on children’s learning in a first school setting.
Practical ideas to create a collaborative community of enquiry in the classroom. Exploration of the use of different stimuli to engage children in debating.
Opportunities to see Philosophy for Children in action. Reflection time to consider how Philosophy for Children can be adapted to meet the needs of the children in your own setting.
Notes: Lunch and light refreshments will be provided throughout the day
