Welcome New Starters September 2020
I would like to extend a warm welcome to those children and their families who be joining the Abbeywood family from September 2020. We are delighted that you have chosen Abbeywood and we know that your child is going to have a lot of fun at our lovely school as they start their educational journey.
Let me reassure you that despite these uncertain times with schools not running as they usually would, we are working hard to develop plans to ensure we get to know your child before they join us in September, making their start to school a really successful one. We will contact you soon with information around how our induction process will work this year, ensuring you still get the opportunity to ask all of those hundreds of questions I'm sure you will have.
In the meantime please don't hesitate to call or email the school office with any queries you may have. No question is too silly! Also continue to keep an eye on this web page as we will update this with new information.
Parents can apply for a place at Abbeywood during the Autumn Term 2020 for children who will be 5 between 1st September 2019 - 31st August 2020. Our current admission limit is 60.
To apply for your child's school place visit Worcestershire School Admissions. Applications open on 1st September and close on 15th January 2020. There is also a late application form for anyone applying after this date.

Applying for a school place during the school year
If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons, you will need to apply for a school place by contacting the school directly. If a place is available then you will need to complete an In-Year application form (CA1). This is available from the school office or can be downloaded from the School Admissions Website.
The school will let you know if a school place is available and you will be invited to visit our school. We can then arrange a start date with you. If a school place is not available you are welcome to join the school's waiting list.
