Global Goals

In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 goals for a better world by 2030. These goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change. Guided by the goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.

This term all classes at Abbeywood are trying to make the world a better place and we are going to explore ways of achieving these goals. For us, a small change can make a BIG difference. All classes have studied the 17 Global Goals and voted to learn about one in more detail. Ash class will be learning more about sustainable cities and how 'going green' can save the planet!
