Pastoral Support

This is an unsettling time for us all.  We are experiencing uncertainty, anxiety and our circumstances may be changing as we navigate a difficult season in our lives and the world.  The Church of England is present in every community and offers sympathetic and non-judgemental pastoral support to all, regardless of your faith or none.

The Alpha Course

The Alpha Course is an opportunity to explore the Christian Faith and share your point of view, regardless of your background. It’s a series of sessions that explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning like “Who is Jesus?” and “Why and how should I pray?”  The course is free and will be running online, starting on Monday 1st June, 7.30pm.

Discipleship Explored

Discipleship Explored is a course for Christians young and old to turn up the gospel soundtrack to their lives.

It goes beyond simply teaching the right moves – go to church, pray, read the Bible, share the gospel – and focuses on the music which drives discipleship: the love of Christ.  The greatest love anyone can ever know.

This eight-session journey through Paul’s letter to the Philippians is ideal for believers at any stage of the Christian life. It features brand-new documentary-style films and inspiring real-life stories from around the world, Bible studies and weekly reading plans, and a beautifully redesigned Handbook.  The course is free and will begin on Thursday 14 May at 7.00pm.
