Sonny, Jake, Millie, Miley, Chloe, Brody, Esmae, Zakkary, Elsie and Isobelle have all achieved their Times Table 1 Badge!
They can recall the 2, 5 and 10 times tables in any order (within 5 seconds) and have visited Mrs. Frost's office to prove it!
We are hoping that every child will have completed this challenge by the end of the school year! We have a few different ways of learning these at school but practising at home is so helpful too.
Multiplication knowledge is vital to be able to make links and see patterns in numbers, work efficiently and problem solve effectively beyond Year 2.

This term we are going to be learning about mindfulness and what makes us feel good.
It is no secret that people who feel good about themselves live happier and more fulfilled lives. We know the importance of this and happy children make the best learners. We launched the topic with a week of feel good activities that included drumming, dance, singing and yoga workshops (photos to be uploaded soon). In Ash class we are making each other feel good by spreading positive vibes and complimenting each other. We have created a special 'cup of compliments' bunting display filled with compliments from our friends. And we are already feeling less stressed!
