Attainment in Key Stage 1 and Early Years 2019

Outcomes for pupils at the end of Key Stage 1 assessments continue to be high, with sustained improvements year on year.  Children have achieved above the National Data in reading, writing and maths with a high proportion of children working at greater depth (above the expected standard).

 

Children at Abbeywood have continued to achieve well and outcomes for pupils at the end of the Year 1 Phonics Screening Test were just below National Data for 2019.  These children have made accelerated progress from their starting points.

 

There has been a sustained improvement in outcomes for our youngest children with an increase in the number achieving a Good Level of Development (GLD) at the end of Early Years.  This is now broadly in line with National Data and children make accelerated progress from their starting points.
